Baruch Dayan Ha Emet John Abro Nov 28th 2021

John AbroWe are sad to inform you that John Abro, passed away on November 28th, 2021 in South Africa, after living in San Diego for decades.

Posts on Facebook from his friends all over the world:

Iā€™m dedicating this beautiful song covered by Van Morrison and Chet Baker to our friend Johno Abro who passed away suddenly yesterday.
A more compassionate generous soul who loved his family friends and animals with a deep sincerity would be hard to find. Wishing long life to his sister Lynne Raphaely, his partner Lorraine Edel and his many friends far and wide who adored him.
Go softly into the night darling Johno ā€¦ the world is poorer for you having left.

Jono, a golden light has been extinguished. Your friendship has spanned over decades, oceans, and continents. So shocked and saddened to hear of your sudden passing. May your nearest and dearest find strength in your blessed memory. Long-life to all. RIP Jono šŸ™

We are so shocked & saddened to hear of Johno’s sudden passing.
We met Johno with his sister & brother-in-law on a game drive whilst staying in Mjejane in 2016 & immediately became friends. We loved his sense of humor & welcoming nature, we were to catch up & stay with him last year if it wasn’t for covid canceling our trip.
Like others have said, it was a joy to catch up with him online each night & laugh at his helpful life advice, quick wit & cheek.

Our condolences to Johno’s family & loved ones šŸ’ž
We will miss you, dear friend, rest in peace, much love,
